The far south features Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. Being Vietnam's largest city, it teems with life as a neverending stream of motorcycles zigzag their way through the bustling streets. For a more relaxing pace, head to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's 'rice basket', or to the ancient city of Hoi An for a leisurely stroll through the old quarter with its charming souvenir shops and restaurants.
