Between April and August is Langkawi's mid season with occasional rains, cloudy skyies and sometimes thunderstorms, but they are short lived.

From September to October Lankawi has its rainy season which most tourists like to avoid. During the rainy season, it rains only for about 2 hours a day but usually in the late afternoon and at night.
